Shawn, you managed the time consuming, stress-inducing details, and even made the planning itself an enjoyable process. You knew what we
wanted and you listened to our ideas. You directed us in a good way, gave great advice, and somehow we still stayed within our budget. The vendors you recommended were awesome. More importantly, everything from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception was perfect. The timeline you designed let the
bridal party, family, and each wedding vendor know exactly where they were supposed to be and when. We had nothing to worry about and that made the
day even more special. We can't think of anything we would have changed that day. We couldn't have had such a beautiful, problem-free day without
you. We will recommend you to all our friends and relatives and look forward to your coordinating any future events we may have.

You did it again! I just wanted to thank you so much for helping my Dad and I pull off one of the best surprise 50th birthday parties ever. When Dad and I were talking about a party for Mom, the first person we thought of was you. We knew after my beautiful wedding there was no one else who could pull off what we wanted. From the location at Barclay Villa in Angier to the invitations and cake, everything flowed and could not have been more exciting.
I have to say that the best surprise was…. Mom had no clue!!! I tell my mom everything and she couldn't believe that I hid her birthday celebration from her. I couldn't have done it without you and your little white lie. She totally thought she was helping you with a wedding, little did she know. I still can't believe that out of the 200 and something guest that no one told.
I had so much fun planning with you, and you make it so easy. You're like a part of the family now. Well, you know my little brother is getting married some time next year, and we get to do it again! I'm so excited! See you soon!

Shawn was a pleasure to work with. I am not the typical bride and quite honestly did not really look forward to wedding planning. Thankfully, Shawn made the planning as painless as possible and took it all in stride. Shawn took care of all of the wedding plans including venue, catering, guests, flowers, invitations, etc. She enabled me to make easy decisions regarding the things that were most important to me, but took care of other decisions without me having to worry about them. I was very grateful to have so many things taken care of in such a great manner.
Our wedding weekend was perfect! The ceremony and reception at Castle McCullouch in Jamestown ran smoothly as did the day after celebration at The Cultural Arts center in Greensboro. The venue, catering, and flowers were amazing. Shawn had everything in place well before the wedding day - all I had to do was write a check. She directed the day and prepared all of us for every moment. The candy she brought for the ring bearers and flower girls was a godsend. I learned later there were few glitches during the weekend which were taken care of without me even knowing about it.
I couldn't have been happier with Shawn. We are very appreciative of all her hard work in allowing us to have a "dream come true" wedding.

At first, we were hesitant about hiring a wedding planner because of the amount of money that was involved. I mean, how hard could it be to plan a wedding, right?...HA! Looking back, it was worth every penny. To not have to deal with the stress of all the day's coordination and knowing that things were going to happen they way they should was well worth it.
First of all, my mom was in another city, so having you here in the same city was quite comforting. I knew I had support within a phone call or short drive.
You gave me great advice on which vendors to choose. I didn't have to worry that I was choosing a vendor that would give me less than superior service.
You gave suggestions and ideas, but were never pushy. I never felt like you were rushing me or giving me deadlines. You did a great job encouraging me and making me feel that I was doing a good job. I wasn't a girl who grew up dreaming about her wedding plans. I was the biggest "tom-boy". I definitely needed encouragement!
You were a tremendous help with our 4 year-old daughter who was not feeling well the day of the wedding. You helped to get her ready and keep her happy and busy so that I was not stressed out thinking about how she was doing. Our daughter was so excited about getting dressed up in her flower girl dress and throwing flowers for the wedding. She was so excited that she neglected to notice the stairs on her path down the aisle and took a pretty mean fall. You scooped her right up, calmed her down, and got her back out there to walk down the aisle before my dad and I even got there. It was a miracle. When I heard that she fell, my heart sunk because I knew how much this meant to her, but you acted quickly and it turned out great for everyone. I thank you tremendously for that. You don't know how much we love you for that!!
You were always at the right place at the right time during the wedding, which was a little more complicated with an outdoor ceremony at BrierCreek Country Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. Everything was perfect and I didn't have to worry about any of the details. Things were in place and everyone knew what they needed to do and where to be and I didn't have to worry about any of it. I just took it all in, enjoyed the day, and knew that everything was going to happen perfectly, or close to it, because you were in charge.
I will encourage anyone that is getting married to work with you. If I could go back and change anything, I wouldn't do anything differently. It was as close to perfect as any bride could ever wish for and a lot of it was because of you. Thanks again!
